The year will open in early September.
Our pre-school is open from
The school year ends in late July, and the pre-school
will be closed during the month of August.
There will be a winter break between Christmas and New
Year’s, but no other seasonal breaks. With the exception of public holidays, we
welcome our pre-schoolers 11 months of the year.
The pre-school syllabus is based on weekly topics, a
majority of which are linked to seasons and holidays. In this way, the children
become acquainted with the months, seasons and the subsequent holidays.
Children learn songs, poems and plays associated with the various holidays, as
well as crafts and baking for each specific event.
Children celebrate the birthdays of their peers within
the group with a birthday cake and games.
There are events for which surprises are prepared for
the children, including various activities such as puppet plays for St.
Nicholas or Children’s Day.
